Head of Branch (Germany)
- Own P&L and revenue growth of the German branch
- Define and execute local market strategy (client acquisition, partnerships, distribution)
- Build, lead, and scale local commercial and support teams
- Ensure alignment with group product, pricing, and risk appetite
- Act as the senior locally accountable executive vis-à-vis the German regulator and other authorities
- Ensure full compliance with local laws, MiFID II, AML/CTF, conduct, and consumer protection rules
- Oversee local compliance, reporting, audits, and regulatory inspections
- Implement group policies and controls; escalate regulatory or risk issues promptly
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations and third-party relationships
- Coordinate with group functions (Compliance, Legal, Risk, Finance, Product)
- Ensure robust governance, controls, and documentation
- Senior leadership experience in a regulated financial services firm (brokerage, trading, banking, fintech)
- Strong knowledge of German financial regulation and EU regulatory frameworks
- Proven commercial leadership with P&L ownership
- Credible senior counterpart for regulators
- Fluency in German and English
