Process Controls & BMS Commissioning Engineer
- Lead commissioning activities associated with Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), PLC-based control systems, and integrated controls infrastructure.
- Support development, review, and approval of controls sequences, integrated testing scripts, alarm strategies, and monitoring requirements.
- Coordinate and witness Level 1 through Level 3 commissioning activities associated with controls and system integration.
- Support execution of Level 4 Functional Performance Testing and Level 5 Integrated Systems Testing activities, including verification of integrated control sequences and failover responses.
- Interface with mechanical, electrical, and vendor teams to troubleshoot controls-related issues during testing and commissioning activities.
- Verify trending, alarms, graphics, points lists, monitoring functionality, and system interoperability across critical infrastructure platforms.
- Support commissioning activities associated with monitoring-based commissioning, energy performance validation, and sustainability requirements.
- Participate in system readiness reviews, First of a Kind inspections, integrated systems testing, and final turnover activities.
- Assist with issue management, commissioning reporting, and closeout documentation through ACC, Cx Alloy, and associated commissioning management systems.
- Degree or technical qualification in Controls, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience commissioning BMS, EPMS, PLC, or integrated controls systems within mission critical or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of critical cooling controls, power monitoring systems, alarm management, and integrated systems testing methodologies.
- Experience supporting integrated controls testing for chilled water systems, CRAHs, fan walls, UPS systems, generators, and critical power infrastructure.
- Experience with monitoring-based commissioning, trend analysis, and energy performance verification desirable.
- Familiarity with data centre control architectures and hyperscale commissioning environments preferred.
- Experience using digital commissioning management systems and Common Data Environments preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and coordination skills.
- Fluent English required. German language capability desirable.
