Aufgabengebiet

• Business Advisory: Provide proactive, real-time compliance advice to investment banking teams and traders regarding local and international regulatory standards (specifically MiFID II, MAR, WpHG).
• Transaction Safeguarding: Monitor and assess potential conflicts of interest, manage insider lists, conduct wall-crossings, and clear research and deal documentation.
• Regulatory Framework: Continuously analyze shifting regulatory trends at the European and global level, ensuring rapid and efficient implementation into local banking processes.
• Stakeholder Interface: Collaborate closely with international compliance hubs within the global network (particularly across Spanish-speaking jurisdictions) and prepare executive briefs for senior leadership.

Anforderungsprofil

• Hard Skills: University degree in Law, Economics, or a related field with a clear focus on banking law or regulatory frameworks.
• Hard Skills: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in compliance within an investment bank, an international corporate bank, or a Big 4 financial services advisory team in Europe.
• Hard Skills: Exceptional language proficiency: Fluent English AND mandatory business-fluent Spanish
• Soft Skills: Sharp analytical mind with the ability to translate complex regulations into pragmatic, business-oriented solutions for front-office dealmakers.
• Soft Skills: Strong assertiveness paired with cultural diplomacy when navigating a demanding, fast-paced stakeholder matrix.
