Due to continued growth and increasing complexity across its global supply network,thebusinessisseekingahighlystrategicGlobalProcurementManagerFinishedGoodstodrivesourcingexcellence,supplierperformance,andcommercialvaluecreationacrossacriticalspendportfolio.This is a highly visible role partnering closely with Operations, Engineering,ProductManagement,Manufacturing,andseniorleadershipteamsglobally.KeyResponsibilitiesDevelopandexecutetheglobalprocurementstrategyforFinishedGoodsandexternallymanufacturedproducts.Manage asignificantinternationalsupplierportfolioacrossEurope,Asia,andNorthAmerica.Leadstrategicsourcinginitiatives,supplierselectionprocesses,contractnegotiations,andlong-termsupplierdevelopmentplans.Identifyanddelivercostoptimizationopportunitieswhilemaintainingquality,delivery,andinnovationstandards.DrivesupplierperformancemanagementthroughstructuredKPIframeworksandregularbusinessreviews.WorkcloselywithEngineeringandProductDevelopmentteamstosupportnewproductintroductionsandproductlifecyclemanagement.Strengthensupplychainresiliencethroughriskassessment,dualsourcingstrategies,andbusinesscontinuityplanning.Leadnegotiationsforcomplexcommercialagreements,ensuringfavorabletermsandlong-termvaluecreation.SupportsustainabilityandESGinitiativesthroughoutthesupplierbase.Monitormarketdevelopments,industrytrends,andsupplierlandscapestoidentifystrategicopportunitiesandmitigaterisks.Collaboratewithregionalprocurementteamstoensurealignmentbetweenglobalstrategyandlocalexecution.CandidateProfileDegreeinBusiness,Engineering,SupplyChain,Procurement,orarelateddiscipline.Severalyearsofstrategicprocurementexperiencewithinanindustrialmanufacturingenvironment.ProvenexperiencemanagingFinishedGoods,ContractManufacturing,OutsourcedProduction,orcomplexdirectmaterialcategories.Strongunderstandingofglobalsupplychainsandsuppliernetworkswithinmachinery,industrialequipment,automotive,manufacturing,engineeredproducts,orrelatedsectors.Demonstratedsuccessdeliveringmeasurablesavings,supplierimprovements,andprocurementtransformationinitiatives.Excellentstakeholdermanagementskillswiththeabilitytoinfluenceseniorleadershipandcross-functionalteams.Strongcommercialacumenandnegotiationcapabilities.ExperiencemanaginginternationalsuppliersandconductingnegotiationsinbothGermanandEnglish.NativeorfluentGermanlanguageskillsareessential.FluentEnglishisrequired.Willingnesstotravelinternationallyasrequired.WhatOurClientOffersStrategicglobalprocurementrolewithsignificantinfluenceonbusinessperformance.Exposuretointernationalleadershipteamsandglobalsuppliernetworks.Opportunitytoshapecategorystrategyanddriveprocurementbestpractices.Modern,collaborativeworkingenvironmentwithflexibleworkingarrangements.Competitivecompensationpackageincludingperformance-basedbonus.Long-termcareerdevelopmentopportunitieswithinaglobalindustrialleader.IdealBackgroundsCandidatesarelikelytocomefromindustriessuchas:IndustrialMachineryMechanicalEngineeringManufacturingAutomationCapitalEquipmentAutomotiveIndustrialTechnologyEngineeredProductsProcessEquipment
