Analyst - Infrastructure - Private Equity (Primaries & Secondaries)

Overview:

We are currently supporting a globally renowned private equity investment firm in their search for a highly motivated Analyst to join their Secondaries & Primaries team in Frankfurt. This position offers exposure to top-tier investment professionals and in-depth insight into private markets strategies across geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

Secondaries Investments:

• Value and price equity interests in private equity and infrastructure funds and companies
• Conduct financial modeling, pricing analysis, and business model assessments
• Prepare investment recommendations and presentations for internal committees
• Monitor portfolio performance and assist in reporting to stakeholders
• Engage with the global investment team on deal execution and strategy

Primaries Investments:

• Conduct market screening and research on European private equity managers
• Participate in meetings and due diligence with fund managers
• Analyze strategy, performance, and team capabilities
• Draft investment memoranda and present findings to internal committees
• Maintain ongoing engagement with fund managers and monitor portfolio developments
• Contribute to reporting for investors and advisory boards

Candidate Profile:

• 1-2 years in private equity, M&A, or corporate finance
• Strong academic background; international exposure is a plus
• Outstanding analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel proficiency required)
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Professional demeanor with confidence in engaging with senior investment professionals
• Fluent in English; Native or fluent German is essential
